Culinary Arts Club launches at Forest Hall School
Posted: 14th October 2016Forest Hall School is proud to announce that we currently run an extra curricular Culinary Arts Club every Monday from 3:20 pm until 5:00 pm. When we think about food, we think about what we love to eat. Our Culinary Arts Club involves creating delectable dishes ranging from cakes, pastries, wholesome cooked meals and tantalising desserts.
The club is very popular and we have a group of 20 pupils who have signed up as budding new chefs! There are specific cooking methods and techniques to learn and pupils get to create fusions between different cuisines from around the world all through our multicultural FHS heritage! All dishes are made from scratch and our pupils are enthusiastic to learn and cook a range of recipes that are pleasing to the taste buds. Some of the recipes on our list include Victoria Sponge, Irish Soda Bread, Chicken Fajitas, Empanadas and Bunny Chow - no bunnies are harmed in the making of this dish! The best part of any cooking experience is always in the tasting. Eating is a necessity but cooking is an art!
