Fundraiser goes with a swing
Posted: 16th July 2019A night of swing incorporated a mix of student performances and music by the Blue Skies Big Band.
The audience enjoyed an opportunity for a dance during the show at Forest Hall School.
The school choir sung and students performed solos, including Georgina Tate singing Smile and Daniel Elsley performing Mr Bonjangles.
Blue Skies Big Band took over for the second half, singling classics such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and In the Mood.
Julia Lysons, music teacher, said: “It was a fantastic night that raised £230 to be split between Help for Heroes and our school production of Sister Act.”
